This article from Esquire.com is intriguing.  How will the oil spill “ruin” your dinner? You would have expected the journalist to write, “how will the oil spill affect your dinner?”. The fact that he used the word ruin is interesting. I like the way he cooked the word and ruined my food.

If the journalist had used another word he would have been guessing. That is to say he would have tried to speculate how the oil spill might affect what we eat. In the title, the journalist just said what he thinks. He said the oil spill will ruin your dinner.  His he write to say that? It doesn’t matter because the title was just about his analysis of what the BP oil spill will do to our food.

Interesting title and very creative written like a man.
